We invite you to explore the content and features available on MonadnockResearch.net. Doing so means that you agree to observe the Terms of Use detailed below that protect the rights of Monadnock Research and those of community members. Failure to abide by these Terms of Use (last updated 3 March 2009) can include, in addition to civil and criminal liability and associated remedies, the termination of access to the site for all users in the offending person's organization, without refund or recourse.
Terms of Use
- You are not authorized to reprint, republish, re-post, or otherwise distribute or transmit content or images presented on this site, or sent to you by Monadnock Research, without our prior written consent. Enterprise-wide member agreements are structured to allow for broad internal use of documents under certain conditions, but no individual or organization should assume that they have these rights without first verifying with Monadnock Research staff via the Contact page on this site. No individual, including those with paid individual memberships, has these rights. Please contact us if you have questions about licensing or redistribution rights.
- All memberships are credentialed to specific individuals. Members are not permitted to share login details, including user names and passwords. The member portal is designed to detect sharing of credentials, and will suspend any account where more than one individual signs on using the same user name and password. Organizations that have purchased company-wide licenses have rights to a specific number of employee member accounts. Please contact us via this link to add a new member account at an organization with an enterprise subscription.
- Buyers of consulting services have access to all member areas of MonadnockResearch.net and site features. Providers of consulting services may also subscribe, but individuals that market services are not granted rights to view or participate in discussion forums. Providers also do not have access to all content in the document archive. We understand that some organizations have employees that buy consulting services and others that market services. Members that are buyers of consulting services (or internal providers of consulting services) within organizations that also market services may access all buyer areas, but in so doing hereby agree that they will not share information obtained from buyer forums or buyer-specific content archives with members of their organization that provide services to external clients or support related activities. Financial services firms, software companies, and other organizations that offer services to either the consulting industry or to buyers of consulting services have the same access rights as those available to consulting service providers.
- While Monadnock Research considers that the information and opinions presented on this site, in the firm's research publications, and in direct communications is sound, all parties must rely upon their own skill and judgment when interpreting or making use of it. Any forecast, analysis, or advice that Monadnock Research, its employees, affiliates, or partners provide is, by necessity, based on assumptions for, and assessments of, current, future, and past market conditions and events. While Monadnock Research believes these assumptions and assessments are reasonable for their intended uses, actual outcomes may differ materially from those published or communicated.
- No advertising, trading of goods or services, or other commercial use is permitted. No bulk e-mail, junk mail or spam, chain letters, or repeat postings of the same message is permitted anywhere within forums. Members expect to be communicating with peers at other organizations, and Monadnock Research makes its best efforts to ensure that only our staff and buyers of services (or providers of services in a provider forum) are allowed to participate in the forum areas of the site, on Linked-In, or anywhere else we host a forum.
- Forum participants are encouraged to disclose their name and organization when posting to the discussion forums, but we do not require it. Impersonating any other individual or entity is strictly prohibited. Monadnock Research personnel will always disclose that they are a staff member in forums.
- Treat other subscribers with courtesy and respect when posting messages to the discussion groups.
- Avoid shouting (using all capital letters) in discussion forums. Obscenity, ethnic comments, hate speech, sexually explicit language, or comments that could be perceived as harassing, abusive, or threatening toward other participants are strictly prohibited.
- When you post content in a discussion forum, you permit this site to display and distribute the content, and to use it for any purpose. We will not, however, attribute the name of an individual or organization to a specific comment without the author's consent. You hereby grant to Monadnock Research LLC the complete, perpetual, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, and sub-license the content in whole or in part, on a royalty-free basis.
- We do not try to edit or monitor messages posted in discussion forums, but we reserve the right to edit or remove objectionable material. The individual posting a message is solely responsible for its content, and Monadnock Research makes no assertions as to the accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose of published statements or content.
