2010 Global Consulting Firm Rate Study Launches - Free to Participants
Monadnock Research - 25 February 2010
Printer-Friendly Format

Monadnock Research announces its comprehensive research program for 2010 consulting firm rates. The study will be the largest negotiated client rate study ever conducted. Participation is free and confidential. Statistical results will be aggregated and reported in a final series of 500+ page reports by client industry that will be made available only to participants.

The study will address the following client questions:

  • How do your organization's negotiated rates compare to those of other organizations for strategic firms, or for other consultancies that you regularly engage?

  • Do other industries have rate structures that differ in a material way from those offered to you and others in your industry for specific firms or service categories?

  • How does your category management program stack up to that of others at various stages of consulting category management excellence, or to that of others in your industry?

  • What are the project-specific rates negotiated by other consulting clients for your strategic firms over the last 18 months?

Project preparation began more than 6 months ago, and special preparations have been undertaken to ensure client confidentiality and firm rate disclosure compliance. Specific details of negotiated firm rates by organization will be kept confidential.

Statistical details on various rating categories will be provided in the results for inclusion in client rating models. The following consulting and advisory services fee categories will be included in the study: strategy; operations; human resources and organization; mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and transformations; financial, risk, regulatory, and legal advisory; sales and marketing; architecture, engineering and construction; and information technology.

Participation is limited to commercial and public service organizations over $1 billion in annual revenues or budget able to submit rate details by professional category in electronic form.

The final results will be published in a series of reports published by client industry on a continuous basis. All reports published are free to program participants over the 12 months immediately following their study participation.

Additional research and advisory services that will be made available at a discount to participants include custom rate analysis; rate model strategy, creation, integration, and assessment; rate comparisons; data cuts for statistical analysis; best practice assessments; industry and service category rate analysis; and related advisory services.

Participant reports will include details on fees by firm, professional level, consulting practice area, industry, geographical region, and more.

Contact Monadnock Research at your earliest convenience (feesresearch@monadnockresearch.com) for additional participation details.
